Faith in Action

Play & Pray – Genesis Edition is a Bible-inspired card game designed to make people of all ages interact with the Word of God in a fun and engaging way.

Every card represents part of a Bible story from Genesis, and each card includes a Bible verse that connects you to the moment in Scripture. As you play, you build the sequence of the story — discovering how events unfold in the Bible.

Each story in the deck is divided into a sequence of numbered cards that follow the events in order. As you collect cards, you can see which parts of the story you have and which parts you're still missing.

This game does not replace reading the Bible. Its purpose is to inspire you to open the Bible and read the full story yourself. Play, learn, and grow in the Word.

Starting the Game

Shuffle the deck well. Mix all cards thoroughly before dealing.

Each player receives 7 cards. Hold them so other players cannot see your hand.

Place remaining cards face down in the centre as the draw pile.

Leave space beside it for a face-up discard pile.

Goal: Build story sequences. A valid sequence must contain minimum 3 cards from the same story in the correct order.

وسيب مكان جنبها لكروت الرمي (مكشوفة).

هدف اللعبة: تكوين تسلسل قصص.
التسلسل الصحيح لازم يكون: على الأقل 3 كروت من نفس القصة وبالترتيب الصح.

Your Turn

Players take turns clockwise. On your turn:

1

Draw one card — either from the closed pile, or from the open card placed by the previous player.

2

Choose one card from your hand and place it face-up in the middle. This becomes the open card for the next player.

اللعب بيمشي مع عقارب الساعة. في دورك:

اسحب كارت — يا إما من الكومة المقفولة أو من الكارت المفتوح اللي اللاعب اللي قبلك حطه.

بعد السحب، اختار كارت من إيدك وارميه مكشوف في النص (ويبقى هو الكارت المفتوح للي بعدك).

Taking an Open Card

If you choose to take the open card from the middle, you must:

→

Immediately place down at least one story sequence, each containing minimum 3 cards.

→

Then discard one card face-up to end your turn.

This rule prevents players from taking cards without progressing the story.

لو لاعب اختار ياخد الكارت المفتوح من النص، لازم:

→

فورًا ينزل على الأقل تسلسل واحد، على الأقل 3 كروت.

→

وبعد كده يرمي كارت مكشوف علشان يخلص دوره.

القانون ده علشان يمنع إن حد ياخد كروت من غير ما يقدّم في القصة.

Story Sequences

Each story is divided into numbered cards — the number shows where each card belongs in the sequence.

When you have enough cards, place the sequence on the table. Minimum: 3 cards in the correct story order.

You can continue extending your sequences during the game by adding matching cards.

كل قصة متقسمة لكروت مرقمة. الأرقام بتساعدك تفهم: ترتيب الأحداث، إيه اللي جمعته من القصة، وإيه اللي لسه ناقصك.

لما تجمع عدد كفاية من الكروت، تقدر تنزل التسلسل على الترابيزة. الحد الأدنى: 3 كروت بالترتيب الصح.

Special Card

The Miracle Card

The Miracle Card acts as a wildcard. It can replace any missing card needed to complete a story sequence. Just like miracles complete what seems impossible — this card steps in and completes the story. Use it wherever you are missing a card in the sequence.

كارت المعجزة بيشتغل كـ "بديل" لأي كارت ناقص. زي ما المعجزات بتكمل اللي شكله مستحيل، الكارت ده يقدر يكمل القصة. تقدر تستخدمه في أي مكان ناقصك فيه كارت في التسلسل.

End of Round

Winning the Game

The round continues until a player is able to play all the cards in their hand. To win a round, you must first draw a card at the beginning of your turn — you cannot win without drawing first.

After drawing, place all your cards in valid story sequences on the table. You may complete your own sequences or add cards to sequences already on the table.

All cards must be placed down in one move, forming valid story sequences. After placing, you must have one final card remaining — place it face-up in the discard pile.

To Win a Round

✓ Draw a card at the start of your turn

✓ Place all your sequences on the table

✓ Discard the final card face-up

All sequences must remain visible so other players can verify the story order and confirm the win.

الفوز في اللعبة

الراوند بيكمل لحد ما لاعب يخلص كل الكروت اللي في إيده.

علشان تكسب:
لازم في بداية دورك تسحب كارت الأول.
ممكن تسحب من: الكومة المقفولة أو الكارت المفتوح.
❗ ماينفعش تكسب من غير ما تسحب كارت الأول

بعد السحب:
تقدر تنزل كل كروتك كتسلسلات صح على الترابيزة.
تقدر: تكمل تسلسلاتك أو تضيف على تسلسلات موجودة.
لازم كل الكروت تنزل مرة واحدة وبتسلسل صحيح.

وفي الآخر:
لازم يفضل معاك كارت واحد وترميه مكشوف.

لو عملت:
